As per the platform, August 9 is the General Bar Date regarding the submission of claims in the bankruptcy cases dealing with Terraform Labs Limited and Terraform Labs Pte Ltd. The company took to its official X account to inform the community about the details of this development.

The General Bar Date for filing claims in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases of Terraform Labs Pte Ltd (TFL) and Terraform Labs Limited (TLL) has been set to August 9, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. (ET).

Terra Discloses August 9 as the Official General Bar Date Concerning Bankruptcy Claims

In its latest X post, the firm discussed claims confronting Terraform Labs Pte Ltd that emerged before January 21. In the case of Terraform Labs Limited the platform pointed toward July 1 as the date before which the claims are acceptable. The respective claims require their submission in line with the General Bar Date.

On the other hand, the failure in this respect may pave the way for the exclusion of the claim from its bankruptcy proceedings. Nonetheless, it also discussed the scenario where someone believes having a Crypto Claim that is excluded. It added that the General Bar Date has no application in that scenario. This would reportedly require the establishment of a distinct bar date for such claims.

The Platform Advises Claimants to Comprehend the Needed Information and Take Adequate Steps for Claims

In addition to this, the platform will also notify the claimants about it accordingly. It also noted that a critical thing is the review of the information regarding the claims procedure. Moreover, the claimants also require taking adequate action to guarantee the proper submission of their claims.
