Lumia, the zkEVM Layer 2 network, has launched its highly anticipated HyperNodes sale. This initiative allows the community to participate in decentralizing the Layer 2 network and support Lumia’s mission to transform onchain liquidity. HyperNodes are now available for purchase at node.lumia.org.

Developed in partnership with Polygon and GatewayFM, Lumia takes advantage of its unique Data Availability Committee (DAC) nodes, known as HyperNodes, to achieve unparalleled scalability, security, and compliance. Notably, Sandeep Nailwal, Polygon’s founder, provided invaluable advice during the development of Lumia HyperNodes, shaping their innovative architecture.

Sandeep Nailwal expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It has been extremely interesting to brainstorm the design space and come up with optimal architecture for Lumia’s upcoming validium with their tech team. I feel that a staked DAC secured validium that lumia is building using Polygon technology could fast become the industry standard for the projects to launch their chains.”

Transforming Blockchain Integrity

HyperNodes play a critical role in Lumia’s approach to data availability and liquidity management. By employing DAC nodes, Lumia addresses significant challenges in the blockchain space, ensuring secure and accessible transaction data while maintaining compliance with various jurisdictions, which is crucial for onboarding Real-World Assets (RWAs). This decentralized network of nodes mitigates risks associated with data loss or manipulation, setting a new standard for blockchain integrity.

Operators of HyperNodes earn real yield through trading fees and verifying transaction data, which defines the state of the chain, thus maintaining its integrity. They can also generate additional revenue streams, creating a direct financial incentive for active participation and contribution to the network.

Lumia HyperNodes ensure fast data availability confirmations through reliance on a smaller, permissioned group of nodes. They also offer better cost predictability for improved resource allocation. Tailored security measures and flexible governance have been specified to meet the unique demands of zkEVM infrastructure.

The HyperNodes sale shows a significant opportunity for investors and blockchain enthusiasts to engage in a decentralized, secure, and efficient ecosystem. By leveraging advanced cryptographic techniques, a private DAC network, and a decentralized data availability layer with NearDA, Lumia is poised to lead the next wave of innovation in blockchain technology.

Lumia is the world’s first next-generation modular Layer 2 network, offering deep liquidity, unparalleled capital efficiency, and critical infrastructure for the future of DeFi and Real-World Assets (RWAs). By bridging the gap between physical assets and digital finance, Lumia makes tokenized assets easily accessible on the blockchain, pioneering the next evolution of finance.
