Auradine Ships 3nm Teraflux Bitcoin Mining Platform
Auradine has begun shipping its new Teraflux 2800 series bitcoin mining platforms. The company claims these systems, built with 3-nanometer (nm) silicon application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) technology, set new standards in performance, efficiency, and resilience.
New Auradine Teraflux Miners Boast Record Efficiency and Resilience
According to Auradine’s announcement shared with Bitcoin.com News, the Teraflux series features two models: an air-cooled AT2880 with a peak output of 260 terahash per second (TH/s) and a single-phase immersion-cooled AI3680 with a peak output of 375 TH/s. The firm noted that these models incorporate Auradine’s Energytune technology, designed to optimize energy use and integration with virtual power plants like CPower and Voltus.
The bitcoin miners are built to operate in a wide temperature range of -20°C to 50°C, ensuring consistent performance across diverse environments. The ASIC manufacturer stated that the SMART system design aims to enhance the durability and security of the miners, allowing them to continue functioning even if multiple chips fail. The zero-touch provisioning feature facilitates rapid deployment and asset management, with miners pre-configured for immediate operation.
Auradine’s Chief Strategy Officer Sanjay Gupta remarked that over 30 customers have validated the new technology, which is expected to significantly impact the bitcoin mining industry. “The Teraflux platform represents a significant leap forward in bitcoin mining technology,” Gupta explained during the announcement.
