Ahead of impending film and music releases, Ethereum NFT-based project Doodles announced the launch of DoodlesTV Super Pass on Tuesday, with the pass now available for minting on Coinbase’s Base—an Ethereum layer-2 scaling network.

The launch comes after Doodles’ recent migration of its Stoodio character customization platform from Flow to Base. It is open for minting today for .0021 ETH, or about $7 at present.

DoodlesTV is a platform designed to offer exclusive content, premieres, and viewing events for holders. Season owners of the DoodlesTV Super Pass will have early access to content, including three music videos before they are released on streaming platforms.

Holders of the pass will also be among the first to view the animated special “Dullsville and the Doodleverse” before its global release. Scheduled for release in September, the “Dullsville and the Doodleverse” film is directed by Doodles founder Scott “Burnt Toast” Martin and features music produced by Pharrell Williams.

“We’re establishing a new paradigm for bringing stories to market, monetizing them and creating deeper connections to the people that make all of this possible—our community,” said Doodles CEO Julian Holguin, in a release. “DoodlesTV will reshape how we experience and engage with content, transforming each tentpole media rollout into a shared, exclusive moment for our community.”

DoodlesTV will also be a feature within The Stoodio on the Doodles app. Additionally, Super Pass holders will receive four special pieces of album and film art featuring each artist. Doodles’ original holders will also receive priority access to the Doodles Records soundtrack.

DoodlesTV aims to create a direct-to-community media platform, introducing fan interaction with artists and creators along with exclusive content and collectibles. With DoodlesTV, the project says it aims to place artists and their communities at the forefront of cultural moments.

“With the launch of DoodlesTV on Base, we’re witnessing the journey of animators bringing their dreams to life on-chain,” said Base creator Jesse Pollak, in a release. “As we head into the next generation of the internet, we’re excited to see creators of all kinds own their content and be rewarded for it.”
